Details: Marla Aaron's first 18k mechanical lock. A wonderfully thick and solid infinity-like shape with working levers on either end. This lock is a hefty piece, making a bold statement that works best with a heavier chain, mega bracelet or a strand of beads. The design of the lock draws on the functionality of French shipping hardware. Four tiny diamonds are inlaid into the lock, two on each side. Working as both the clasp and a pendant, the Pushmi-Pullyu is best as a stand alone piece without hanging charms.
The name is drawn from the fictional two-headed creature from the Doctor Dolittle series. It has a head on each end of the body and can face two directions at once.
Measurements: This lock measures 1.25" by .5". The four stones are .12ct diamonds.
